Water Spirits

Here, the traditional combination of shakuhachi and koto (Japanese zither) is reinterpreted through improvisations and compositions which reveal these instruments in a fresh light. In addition, there are two pieces for koto and shakuhachi solo which make use of multitrack techniques in the recording studio to complement and thicken the textures.
